Edward Guiliano '72 Global Undergraduate Fellowship

Project-based community engagement through artistic, academic and cultural experiences globally.

The Edward Guiliano '72 Global Fellowship seeks to provide undergraduate students with transformative opportunities to broaden their perspectives and interact with the world through artistic, academic and cultural experiences outside their current communities.

Funding

Projects should be significantly student-directed. They may be in partnership with a faculty mentor, a community-based organization, or community members. Fellowship projects may be individual or collaborative projects. 

Applying to the Fellowship

The Guiliano Fellowship accepts applications twice yearly – in the fall and spring – on Ufunds.  Applicants interested in projects happening over the winter or spring semester must apply in the fall. Applicants interested in projects happening over the summer or following the upcoming fall semester must apply in the spring.

Questions about the fellowship?

When Nijpawi Gordon '25 was in high school, she volunteered at a children’s hospital in Thailand. However, it was not until Gordon came to Brown that she realized she wanted to pursue her interest in pediatrics.
