Swearer Center for Public Service
Leadership and Engagement Opportunities
Peer Advisors will serve as an initial point of contact for students seeking to get involved in community engagement, engaged scholarship and/or social innovation opportunities or who are looking to deepen their engagement or shift to other opportunities.
The Swearer Center Student Advisory Committee (SAC) ensures the Center consistently enacts its values and meets its strategic priorities.
Brown Votes is a nonpartisan, University-wide, collective impact initiative committed to fostering democratic participation across campus and beyond.
Through BrownEngage, students can explore community engagement opportunities, participate in programs or fellowships, access training, and workshops, register for events, and reflect upon and share experiences.
There are many active student groups (undergraduate and graduate) on campus that engage with the broader Providence community.
Are you a student interested in working on a community-identified data or evaluation project? Learn about the Community-Engaged Data & Evaluation Collaborative (CEDEC).
