Learning Intensive in Community-Engaged Scholarship, Learning and Action

A professional development opportunity that will provide participants with the space to engage across disciplines, programs and backgrounds in conversations about community engagement in their scholarship, learning and action.

This series will inform participants about community engagement at Brown, including approaches, methods and resources. Participants will also gain insights into careers in engaged scholarship in and beyond higher education. Sessions will include group discussions, guest conversations with community-engaged scholars and practitioners and dedicated time for reflection and questions.

You can complete an application by October 31, 2025. Notifications will be sent on November 7, 2025. PhD students pursuing any degree in any program at Brown University are welcome to apply.
