BrownEngage
What is BrownEngage?
BrownEngage is a portal that enables campus stakeholders to find community agencies open to volunteers and collaborators. We encourage both campus and community partners to share not only “traditional” volunteer opportunities, but also projects or initiatives where collaboration is welcome. BrownEngage highlights specific initiatives (such as RICOMJOBS and Board & Committee Service Opportunities) to help you find or post opportunities by theme.
Through our new integration with the Volunteer Center of Rhode Island (VCRI), opportunities posted on either platform now appear on both, expanding access to hundreds of volunteer and internship listings from more than 100 community partners.
Who manages the portal?
The Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown University manages this platform to connect the resources of Brown University with community-based entities in advancing work focused on social justice and the public good. Unless expressly noted, the Center does not oversee or endorse specific opportunities or individuals engaging through the site. BrownEngage is built on partners and users sharing clear expectations and requirements to ensure mutual preparation.
