
Biography
Renina Wynn is a recent graduate of Wheaton College and is now an Urban Education Policy (UEP) Graduate student with the Education Dept. At Swearer, Renina is working with the Junior and Senior Bonner Fellows as the current Community Engaged Learning GA and UEP Intern. Prior to higher ed. Renina has always had a passion for educational justice. She consistently found herself working with local organizations such as the Alliance of Rhode Island's Southeast Asians for Education (ARISE) and Providence Youth Student Movement (PrYSM), becoming more aware of the Providence Public School System, and developing campaigns while also building community. Now that Renina is returning to Providence, she is ready to dive back into her community with a new lens and continue to learn more about urban education systems while supporting students through community engagement.
In Renina's free time, she enjoys trying new cafes, thrifting and listening to music.
