Swearer Center for Public Service

Jessica leads communications for the Swearer Center for Public Service, shaping strategy and storytelling that elevate the Center’s programs, partnerships and impact. She also supports strategic communications for the University’s Office of Community Engagement, helping communicate the University’s broader community engagement priorities and initiatives.

Jessica joined Brown in 2015 and has held communications roles spanning science, university administration and community engagement. Before joining the Swearer Center, she led internal communications initiatives through the Office of University Human Resources, developing communications for Brown’s workforce and supporting institution-wide priorities.

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and classical film studies from Rhode Island College and a Master of Science in organizational leadership. She also holds professional certifications in copy editing and graphic design.
