The Swearer Center works with individual faculty as well as departments, initiatives, programs, and centers seeking to enhance their community engagement as a means of advancing their goals for student learning, diversity and inclusion, research, or public impact – while also addressing community-identified priorities.

Engaged scholarship is a meaningful, high-impact approach to teaching and research for faculty in many disciplines at Brown.
